Mike Turgeon Bio

Mike Turgeon - Throws coach at Winona State in Winona , MN .  Graduated with a Bachelors degree in Health and Physical Education and Masters degree in Sports Administration from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse .  NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and the 2007 Division II North Central Regional Assistant Coach of the Year.  Former discus, hammer, and 35# Weight thrower in college.  Mike is a Six-time NCAA Division III All-American in the Discus and Weight Throw. He is a two-time NCAA Division III National Champion in the discus, and four-time Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Champion in the discus.  Mike has coached one Division II National Champion in the weight throw and four All-Americans in the throwing events at Winona State .

Mike joined the ThrowFarther team in August of 2007.
