Anybody know the approx. amount of pressure applied to the hammer when being thrown? I had heard that it's around 660lbs on an 80m throw, but most of my kids are around or over 50m. Any ideas?

About 450 lbs depending on angle of release. However more force can be generated without yielding any distance.
