Which hammer thrower/videos would you consider to be the best options for a new thrower or coach to study to learn technique?

depends on what aspect of technique you're looking for...i think some throwers are better at some things than others. Some throwers do things in a manner that would be easier for a new coach to understand or a new thrower to replicate than other elite throwers do.

Thank you for your recommendations of hammer throwers to watch! If anyone is interested in these throwers, video of most of them can be found on this site by going to the 'Search Media Archive' link at the top of the screen and entering their name or part of their name into the search box. The search results will bring up the videos that have been uploaded.

If anyone else out there has any video of these throwers that they can upload, please do!

This might sound bad but and anyone with a funny sounding last name and that is from a “eastern block country” and Koji will usually good technique.

We need to beef up the 35# weight throw collection of videos on this site. For those of you that are starting competition soon please get some videos of the good throwers out there in the weight and upload them to the site!

Definately say Koji, but he's been throwing since he was like 9.. So I guess it would probably be the most natural and technically close to perfect as you can find.
